hospital后面其实可以加一个逗号
I would 到hospital是一个虚拟语气,后面had it实际句子全的话，应该是if it had...,但虚拟语气中if什么什么,往往可以把if去掉,然后把句子倒装一下,也就成了现在的had it
断句的话就是I...hospital, had it...., but...
