How do we make the world a better place

The world now we are living in is not perfect. Every day we can see a lot of problems facing our human beings:war, poverty, hunger, pollution, etc. Then how do we make the world a better place?
To start with,as the old saying goes,"love makes the world go around".Love also makes the world a better place. If we love our family ,friends and even strangers more, there will be no wars;if we love animals ,plants and our planet, there will be fewer enviromental problems. With love, a lot of bad things can be changed gradually. With our efforts, the world will be much nicer.
Besides, respect for difference is also important. This is a diversified world, and people have different ideas for the same thing. If we do not respect other people for their ideas, conflcts will appear. For example, without respect,we may even quarrel for where to eat with our friends. Also nowadays many wars are a result of different ideas between different cultures. Respect for difference can reduce the number of wars and make the world more peaceful.
In conclusion, to love everyone and everything around us can creat a harmonious world. When we can't agree with other people, show respect for the difference. Only in these ways can we make the world a better place

The Mid-Autumn Festival is one of the most important festivals for the Chinese people. It has all interesting history. Long ago in one of the dynasties of China there was a king who was very cruel to the people and did not manage the country well. The people were so angry that some brave ones suggested killing the king. So they wrote notes telling about the meeting place and time and put them into cakes. On the 15th day of the 8th lunar month every person was told to buy the cakes. When they ate them they discovered the notes. So they gathered together to make a sudden attack on the king. From then on the Chinese people celebrate on the 15th day of the 8th lunar month and eat "moon cakes" in memory of that important event.
When the Mid-Autumn Festival is near, shop windows are beautifully decorated. Many "moon cakes" are displayed for people to buy. People send presents such aswine, fruits and "moon cakes" to their friends and relatives. In the evening of the day, they have a feast. After the feast, they go out to the garden to look at the moon. The children run and laugh on the streets.
It is believed that the moon is at her brightest on this night. Many poems have been written about it, and poets are never tired of reading and writing such poems. In Chinese literature, the moon of the Mid Autumn Festival has been compared to a looking-glass, a jade rabbit, and so on. It seems that Chinese literature takes far more interest in the moon than in the sun.

The Oxford Pocket Dictionary defines kindness as - the quality of being friendly, generous, and considerate.

It’s a simple concept in theory, but in reality it is an action that can sometimes be difficult to implement on a day-to-day basis.

Now I am not talking about the kindness that you might show to your spouse, family members, or friends; yes, of course that’s important.

Likewise, if you are going into your preferred religious institution or social gathering place it is easy to be kind to your peers and those who are familiar…however, how do you (we, me, US) treat those who might be different?

Specifically, I am talking about kindness toward strangers, particularly, those who might be different from
