能和你一起工作我很高兴。

我这次有幸进入办公室工作后发现了不少问题。

我个人觉得这些问题一部分是因为沟通不畅造成的。当员工发现工作上有问题后想改善,却很麻烦。因为往往一个问题会牵扯很多部门,一个地方改动就相应的改很多地方。如:一个零件的图纸改动了,而它的工序卡片确是旧的。

还有,电子版的资料还不健全,这造成了很多事情无法一目了然。

工厂现在的这个样子,有经济危机的原因,还有员工工作热情的原因,有些员工无法像你想象的那样积极的投入工作,只是在混日子。这个问题很麻烦,员工们说工资不高所以这样,但又因为这样工资高不了。这个问题真的很难彻底解决。

我们五个人所做的事情如果可以像你说的那样真的实现的话,单位确实是会有很大的改变,但是阻力太大,这不是两个月或三个月就可以迅速解决的事情。在中国的工厂里要改变固有的规则和人们的想法是需要很长时间的,因为改变会触及一部分人的利益,还有新的规则与想法还需要我们用时间去学习和适应。如:我们刚刚开始的秘薪制度,工人们有些接受不了。

还有,由于中国有着等级的传统,我们五个人只是小卒罢了,要我们去改变这些大问题的信心不是很足啊。
我的英语不怎么样,但还能分清有的是用“谷歌金山词霸”翻译的奥~~

In my opinion, one of the reasons lead to these issues is miscommunication. When there’s something to be improved, then the pace is stuck by red tape. There will be quite a number of departments involved, which will delay the overall process. For example, a drawing of a spare part is revised, but the production drawing of this part remains the same!

还有,电子版的资料还不健全,这造成了很多事情无法一目了然。
Also, it’s noticed that softcopies of documents are not well kept and arranged in a proper way, when we need to refer something using computer, the result is not satisfactory.

There’re many reasons behind current situation of this factory. Recent economic recession is part of the reason, but morale of the employees plays the biggest role. Quite a number of employees are not dedicated to outperform, they just want to get their pay at the end of every month—and that’s it. It’s a tedious cycle, employees complain that low salary causes low morale, and hence lead to low productivity, which makes salary increase impossible. This is a very complicated issue to handle.

If only 5 of us could really perform our daily task as what you suggested, that would be a great positive change in our department. Nonetheless, we couldn’t just ignore the foreseen obstacles and be over-optimistic on this matter. It takes long term effort to achieve the desired goal; it can’t be completely done in only a few months. In China, it’s not easy to change what has been existed for long time, not to mention to change mindsets of employees. This is because all changes involved conflict of interest, and also long time adoption to new rules and new working ways. For example, some employees don't really agree with implementation of new“secret salary” system.

还有,由于中国有着等级的传统,我们五个人只是小卒罢了,要我们去改变这些大问题的信心不是很足啊。
Last but not least, 5 of us as low-ranking employees are bound by conventional strict hierarchy—which has been a local tradition for long. We don’t have much confidence to take initiative in resolving these major issues. I hope you may look into this and reconsider about it.

After the staff find that there is a problem at work and want to improve , they feel it very troublesome. After I have started working in the office, I found some problems which I must reflect to you.

Personally, I think that these problems are happened partly because of lack of communications. When staff finds problem and wants to solve it, it is not easy because it always concerns different departments, which means one change will lead to changes of a lot of places. Moreover, the information on internet edition is not complete and things cannot be seen completely from it.

For the recent status of the factory, part of the reason is economic crisis and part of it is the enthusiasm of staffs. Some staffs are not as motivated as what you expected, and they only dawdle for salary.

If things five of us do will be actualized as you said, it will be a great change for the factory. But the existing resistance is also great, and I don’t think problems can be solved in two or three months. In China, if a factory needs to change its rules and people’s thoughts, it takes a very long time, because changes may influence benefits of some people, and staffs need time to adapt to the new rules and thoughts. For example, most workers are not able to accept the new “secret wages”system we have just started.
