Living in the concrete jungle, we have to admit that our busy extravagant lives are corroding our souls little by little. Only by being close to nature can we recover our vitality and go back our true selves. Breathing in fresh air, smelling the fragrance of flowers and listening to the sounds of birds and streams, we can release our tensions and listening to the sounds of birds and streams, we can our tensions and cleanse our minds of the tiresome things around us. Form the journey of water, we can understand the circle of life. Also, we can learn to be kind people from the peace of mountains. We can learn a lot as we enjoy the cozy atmosphere of nature. We may consider nature as a GREat book, and noting in the can delight us as much as it!

Once man did not have to think about the protection of his environment. There were few people on the earth, and natural resources seemed to be unlimited.Today things are different. The world has become too crowded. We are using up our natural resources,and polluting our environment with dangerous chemicals. If we continue to do this, human life on earth will not survive. We realize that if too many fish are taken from the sea, there will soon be none left. Yet,with modern fishing methods, more and more fish are caught.We know that if too many trees are cut down, forests will disappear. Yet, we continue to use powerful machines to cut down more and more trees. We see that if rivers are polluted with waste products, we will die. Yet, waste products are still put into rivers.We know that if the population continues to rise at the present rate, in a few years, there wont be enough food.What can we do to solve these problems?If we eat more vegetables and less meat, there will be more food available. Land for crops feeds five times more people than land where animals are kept.Our natural resources will last longer if we learn to recyciethem.
The world population will not rise so quickly if people use modern methods of birth control.Finally, if we educate people to think about the problems we shall have a better and cleaner planet in the future.

Environmental problems are as big as not for individual country or individual people to address. In other word, we have reached the stage that environmental problems be solved for international view. To what extent do you agree or disagree?
In recent years, many nations have become more aware of the environmental issues each nation faces, such as air and water pollution. The question is, are the environmental issues a national problem or an international problem? It is my belief that the environmental issues have grown to the point of becoming an international problem needing international cooperation to resolve.
Because of the differences in environmental policies, resources and technology, international cooperation could provide quicker results and have a greater impact on bringing resolution to environmental problems for nations of differing environmental policies and of lesser resources and technology. By pooling international resources and technology to address the environmental problems, the disadvantaged nations are provided the assistance needed. Otherwise their environmental conditions deteriorate ultimately affecting the resources and environment of the world as a whole.
One of the difficulities to an international resolution to environmental issues is the difference in individual nations view and policies toward environmental protection. In order for international cooperation to occur and succeed, the nations of the world must submit themselved to international standards and supervision by an international commission elected by the participating nations of the world. All members must agree to abide by the standards established.
The environmental issues facing each country are not unrelated to the well being of the rest of the world. The impact is long term and international in scope. Without international cooperation and agreement to address such environmental issues as glacial melting at the South Pole, depletion of the ozone layer, water pollution, air polution, etc., the environmental conditions of the world will deteriorate to the detriment of every nation, not just those that ignore or lack the resources and technology to resolve their individual environmental problems.
As part of the same planet, it is the responsibility of each individual and nation to protect the global environment. Only international cooperation will provide the timely solutions and the effectiveness needed to stop the deteriorating global environment.

Ladies, Gentlemen and Dear Friends,
It is my honor to speak to such a distinguished audience. Harmony is a broad subject indeed. It was developed from human observation of nature. It spans all human interactions and activities and back to ecology. It is the underlying principle of a multitude of disciplines such as music, natural phenomena, mathematics, physics and more. Harmony propagates by resonance, nature's preferred way of propagation. We resonate in harmony singing in a chorus. Our hearts resonate in harmony when we are overwhelmed by powerful emotions of love and admiration. We can resonate to unity in diversity which is harmony. Our hearts do not resonate to base emotions of hate, anger and jealousy. They invoke destructive forces.
In today's world of international conflicts, religious strife, North and South disparities, terrorism, extremism and unilateralism, harmony renaissance is the only common value universal solution. The tide of harmony renaissance is inevitable. All present will become pioneers of harmony renaissance. Harmony advocates non violence. Its premise are tolerance, acceptance, respect, equity, patience and humility. As powerful as we are we will not have nobility and hope unless we practice humility. This is the new global awareness. Harmony is the conduit to facilitate multi directional cultural flow not just from West to East and North to South. Harmony is the all embracing unifying force for unity in diversity.
My background is in aerospace science. My interest is foreign affairs leading to world harmony renaissance. Harmony is the universal theme that we can all resonate. Without being immodest I can share with you two books and over thirty essays I have published just on harmony renaissance. (I) The three main world cultural pillars for 21st century are religion, democracy and harmony. Harmony belongs to the world. It is in our gene in one form or the other to be awakened to reach a collective consensus.
(II) It is time for America, the young dynamic country endowed with resources, to advocate harmony renaissance. Thoughts on ecology will lead us to common harmony consensus.
(III) We will launch our first World Harmony Cultural Festival this third Sunday, September 16, 2007. Cosponsored by San Francisco State University and other distinguished ecology minded individuals and organizations.

It's my honor to be here for this short speech. My topic is the harmonious campus .
We are longing to construct a harmonious campus. But what is a harmonious campus? If the harmonious campus is a big tree, in my opinion, the beautiful environment is the root of the tree; the good relationships are the leaves of the tree; and the colorful campus activities are the soul of the tree.
A harmonious campus is the campus with the graceful natural environment and cultural environment. On our campus, the natural environment is polished. The green grass, the always fine spring day, and the interlaced pavilions, impress the students with beauty. Though our campus is being enlarged, the various flowers and trees are the beautiful scenery. The green outside the classroom shows its grace to the students, enlightens their intelligence, and enables them with endless hope and power. When the students are walking around the campus, their bodies and minds are pleasant. Moreover, the cultural environment on our campus is delicate. The pictures of the excellent students and teachers, the choice work and the outstanding deeds are parts of the harmonious campus environment. As our campus is full of their sweat and wisdom, all the teachers and students are proud of our university ， and the refined environment beautifies their soul and motivates their consciousness of self-respect.
Secondly, only the campus with the favorable relationships is called as a harmonious campus. The unselfish love the teachers give to the students is the presupposition of the harmonious relationships. So long as th ey love the students sincerely, care the students' development vividly, the teachers can win students' love and respect, and students can develop healthily on the harmonious campus. On our campus, whenever the students meet any difficulties, the teachers are willing to give those hands, comfort their hearts. The common life is fulfilled with movements.
At last, a harmonious campus is also rich in various campus activities, without which the students are devoid of meaning. On the sports meeting, the athletes create new records; in the cultural festival, the students' work attracts all attention; and in the art festival, the performances win the applause; the students show their characters fully in all the activities. The harmonious campus culture is an important silent power and the most excellent covert course; it influences students faintly and deeply.
Bring hope to the helplessness, bring power to the young, bring light to the blind, and bring confidence to the weak. Our campus is a harmonious campus; it's a family of us all.

On a Harmonious Dormitory Life
Dormitory life is an indispensable part of college life. But sometimes the harmony in the dormitory be disturbed in one way or another.
As is known to all, a harmonious dormitory life is important to college students and benefits all the members. On one hand, we can have a good rest and put our heart into study. On the other hand, we will have a good mood and enjoy being together.
There are several ways to create and maintain a harmonious dormitory life. Firstly, you have to evaluate your life-style and try to get rid of your dirty habits, if there are any.
