Since it is an internet language, it is constantly evolving. We can choose to embrace or reject it. As the internet grows, language also undergoes myriad changes. I personally enjoy using internet slang because it makes conversations with friends more enjoyable and fosters a sense of closeness. However, internet language also has a negative impact on Chinese. For instance, some internet slang is crude and superficial, leading to many uncivilized behaviors. Words like "WBD" (bastard), "NQS" (to die), and "NMD" (your mother) are examples of such negative language. These expressions are often tasteless and mimic real-life vulgarity. They are commonly used in online games, chats, and debates, particularly by teenagers who may lack self-control. Prolonged exposure to such language can lead to more severe consequences. For example, the use of internet slang in written communication can cause confusion.
