welcome的误用：
1、welcome用来向刚到达或返回的人问候时，意为“欢迎”。这时常见的错句有：
（1）Welcome you！
（2）Warmly welcome (you)！
welcome用在这种寒暄用语中，后面不能跟宾语，也不能用副词修饰，所以上面两句全是错句。正确说法应为：
Welcome！
Welcome back！
Welcome home！
表达“欢迎某人”时可用：John，Welcome！ /Welcome，John！
2、welcome作动词用时，意为“欢迎或迎接（某人）”。
这时常见的错句有：Beijing welcomes you to come to Beijing.
welcome sb的意思相当于say hello to或greet sb，其后跟一个人作为被欢迎的对象即可。例如：
（1）They welcomed me warmly.
（2）The mayor welcomed his Highness in well-founded phrases.
但不能说say hello sb to do sth，也不能说welcome sb to do sth。
如果要表达“欢迎某人做事”，可用sb is welcome to do sth。其中的welcome是形容词。
