不对的，my life is brilliant but the lack of friendship and love这句话有语法错误
前面说我的人生是光彩的 ，后面也应该是句子而不应该是短语（the lack of )
可以这么说my life is brilliant but lack of friendship and love.
这里要注意lack 的几个变形及区别
你记住这个就可以，lack既可以是动词，也可以是名词。
动词时，为及物的，所以直接加名词，就是 lack+ sth...就是缺乏什么什么。
They lack money.
名词时，一般用这个词组 a lack of sth....意思也是缺什么。
eg.There is a lack of water in that city.
lacking 是一个形容词，用法为 lacking in sth..
既然是形容词，就是需要它前面加系动词才可以用，或者直接用一个短语。
eg. He got refused because of being lacking in experience.
同一个意思的句子用这三个形式我在给你举个例子：
他缺乏经验。
He lacks experience.
He has a lack of experience.
He is lacking in experience.

这句话是错句，
my life is brilliant（正确）
主系表结构。
but the lack of friendship and love（错）
这样用的即为：but he is the lack of friendship and love的缩写
主语和表语不能对应，人怎么能是友谊和爱的缺少呢？即人和缺少是不能对应的。
也即 ：he is the lack 这个句子逻辑上不成立。
应该改成：my life is brilliant but lacks a sense friendship and love
或者my life is brilliant but has no sense of friendship and love
或者my life is brilliant but he lacks a sense friendship and love

不对，如果这里的but是作连词用的话，类似and一类的，那么后面应该接一个句子，eg：my life is brilliant but it seems to be lack of friendship and love.
如果这里的but作介词用，译为"除了........之外" 那后面就应该改为“but being lack of friendship and love ”
这里不能用but for 好久没碰语法了，如有错敬请谅解

but the lack of 是错的，把the去掉就正确了
