abundant：
1、abundant指某物十分充足，丰富有余，量大得异常。含有“大量”和“可贵”的意思。
2、abundant在句中可用作定语或表语，用作表语时常与介词in连用。
3、当短语abundant in以物作主语，以地点名词作介词宾语时意思是“某物大量存在〔盛产〕于某地”，有时根据地点不同in要换成on。
反之，以地点名词作主语，以物作介词宾语时则译为“某地大量存在〔盛产〕某物”。abundant with则只能以地点名词作主语，以物作with的宾语，意为“某地大量存在〔盛产〕某物”。
abound：
1、abound是不及物动词。基本意思是“大量存在”，可指物产丰富（主语是大量存在的东西），也可指“盛产”“充满”（主语是生产某东西的地方）。
2、abound指“物产丰富”时用介词in引出地点；指“盛产”时则可用介词in，也可用介词with引出某物。但当含有“某物是特有的或固有的”意味时，通常用in不用with。
3、abound多用于正式文体中。
