你是要中文方面的还是其他外文的啊？从语言学的角度来看都差不多的。
我用英文的例子给你解释一下吧：
一般而言，英文的句子类型分为三大类：
简单句（句子里面只有一个主语和一个谓语，比如说：I like this book.）
并列句（有超过一个以上的谓语动词，就是两个以上的句子，但是谓语动词之间的关系是并列的，句子通常可以用and, but等连词来连接，也可以用逗号来隔开。比如：I like this book and I will read it tonight.）
主从复合句：有超过一个以上的谓语动词，但是它们之间的关系是从属的。
1.名词性的主从复合句，包括我们最常用的宾语从句、同位语从句、主语从句、表语从句等：
比如说：
He said (that) he would see a film.
Il is certain that wo go home before five oclock.
2.修饰性从句，也就是我们经常说的定语从句
This is the book that I bought from Hongkong.
I like the boy who has a wonderful smile.
Do you know the boy whose name is Jack?
3.状语从句，包括地点状语从句、时间状语从句、条件状语从句、比较状语从句等。
比如说：
I won't get out when it rains.
We have visited the factory where his father works.
I will call you if I need your help.
