THE GRAPES ARE SOUR (狐狸的酸葡萄)
Once upon a time, a fox was roaming around searching for food. He was hungry, and he was weak, and he was tired. At last, he came to a garden where he saw a grape-vine full of ripe and juicy grapes.
The fox looked at the grapes. His mouth was watering. He wanted to eat the grapes, but they were too high for him and he was too weak to jump for the grapes. So he sat down for a while to rest. Then he got up and jumped as high as he could to get at the grapes. But he couldn't reach them.
So again he rested and tried to jump again. Again he could not reach the grapes.
Exhausted, he gave up and walked away. He said to himself, "those grapes are sour, who needs them anyway!"
This story tells us that, very often, people hate what they cannot get.本回答被网友采纳
