put away =put....away, 只是宾语位置不同，意思一样

Put away the tools after work, will you?
工作结束后请把工具收拾好。
Put away the unused plates and cups.
把没用过的杯盘拿走。

他储蓄一些钱以防不测。

把某某放到一边。
区别在于：若是要把某具体的东西放到一边，就用
put away sth,
例：
put away the books

若要把前面提到的东西放到一边，即要用代词的时候就用
put it/them away.

也就是只有把代词才能放在put 。。。 away的中间，其他的具体名词要放在put away的后面。

而分开写的则表示：收拾好，放好，放妥当．例如
