The overall quality of the data is good as a result of intrinsically small errors involved in digital data
handling compared to conventional manual measurements. Overall, the results indicated here are taken as
evidence that the system and software work well for controlling the DAS. The program is menu-driven
with dialog boxes making it easy to use. Large amounts of data at high rates and good accuracy can be
obtained with this system. The system is easily adapted and calibrated by the user, so it is not only limited to solar radiation monitoring, but could also be
used for long-term monitoring of many other environmental, ecological or industrial parameters. In
the various applications both the DAS and the
Turbo C++ software could be used with little or
no modification.
