Nowadays, an increasing number of schools are encouraging their students to engage in after-school activities. It is a well-known fact that these activities, just like classroom learning, are instrumental in the growth and development of students. After school, I participate in various after-class activities, such as playing basketball and going jogging, among others. In my view, these activities can enhance our study efficiency. A diverse range of extracurricular activities is essential to complement classroom education. Therefore, we should learn how to integrate what we learn in class with these activities.
2. Out-of-class Activities at Our School
I'd like to share some information about the extracurricular activities at our school. We typically engage in these activities from 4:50 p.m. to 5:50 p.m. daily. We often have sports sessions on the playground, where some students enjoy basketball and football, while others prefer different games. Additionally, we have interest-based groups for activities like drawing, singing, and dancing. Nowadays, many of us are fond of playing computer games. We also go to the English Corner on Wednesday afternoons, which I find interesting for practicing English. I hope we will have more time for leisure and less homework to tackle.
3. Apology and Friendship
I apologize for the argument we had. I understand you were upset about failing the English test last time. It must still be on your mind. However, I don't want to lose a friend like you. I believe we can learn English together. Copying others' homework does not contribute to our academic progress, you know? I am willing to share some tips that have helped me improve my English.
