为什么我随便翻翻英语字典感觉单词都认识，一看阅读就发现好多单词还是不认识，或不能确定意思？

就是说在字典上的一个单词有多种意，怎么才能在文中正确理解它该表达的那个意思？不要说靠上下文阿，因为我不是一两个确定不了意思，所以文章大意都不能把握。

英文阅读量和单词量都不高就会发生这种情况。原因不在于单词本身的词义太多，而在于这些单词，你太少读到或者用到它们。不用多，如果你坚持每天阅读一篇英文文章，一个月之后你再回头看那些曾经困扰你的单词试试。重要的是，遇到未曾见过的新单词的用法，要记笔记并反复review

我觉个例子，obsess，字典里面有迷住，也有困扰的意思。这个单词我开始就不懂该如何使用。后来看sex and the city，发现他们经常用这个词，我才意识到，原来最常用的方式就是sb is obssessed with sth。

比如Carrie is obsessed with talking about Mr. Big。在这里obsess如果直译为迷住或者困扰，就比较不通顺。那么看得多了，就慢慢明白其实整句的意思是Carrie一直不停的说有关于Mr.Big的事情。那么obsess也就是沉迷的意思。
