这两个英语单词的区别？

confront和encounter都有遭遇的意思。请问在词汇单选题中该怎么区别呢？

是泛指所有的毒蛇。

蝰蛇，是毒蛇

但所指范围有限。
cobra
眼镜蛇，也是毒蛇

所以，venomous
snakes
包括
viper,
cobra,
rattle
snake，等等.
但
viper
或
cobra
不包括其他种类的毒蛇。
就像汽车包括轿车，公交车，卡车，等等。但卡车并不包括其他种类的汽车。

encounter 有意外的碰到,偶然碰到的意思

而confront则没有这个隐含的意思本回答被提问者采纳
