有几种方法可以用来读时间：
1、顺读法：按“钟点数＋分钟数”的顺序直接读出来的方法叫顺读法。所有的时间都可以用“小时 + 分钟”直接读：
eg:10：23 ten twenty-three
2、如果所表述的时间在半小时之内，可以用“分钟 + past + 小时”：
10：23 ten past twenty-three
3、用“分钟数＋to＋钟点数”，其中“分钟数”为60减去原分钟数，“钟点数”为“下一个钟点数”，表示“差几分几点”,这个适用于相差分钟数少的时候:
10:23 eleven to thirty-seven
9:15 ten to forty-five
4、如果所表述的分钟和15有关，就有三种表达法：（15分钟又叫一刻钟：a quarter）
9:15 a quarter past nine
5、整点表达法：如果时间是整点，就用“钟点数＋o'clock”这种形式来“报时”。有时也可只读“钟点数”，而不说o'clock。
