"If you don't let me in， I will blow your house down！" says the wolf。 The wolf blows down the second little pig's house。 The stick house is easy to blow down。 The two little pigs run to the third little pig's house。

三只小猪，是著名的英国童话。以会说话的动物为主角，出版时间可能是18世纪或更早，由于1933年5月27日迪士尼所制作的三只小猪长篇动画，目前三只小猪已是全球儿童所熟知的童话之一。
作者约瑟夫·雅各布斯(1854-1916)出生在澳大利亚的悉尼，1872年移居英格兰，就读于剑桥大学国王学院，后对人类学产生兴趣，成为英格兰民俗学会重要成员。
他用十年时间收集英国民间童话，分两卷于1890和1894年出版，弥补了英国文学的一项缺憾。1900年，举家迁往美国纽约，雅各布斯先做《犹太大百科》的修订编辑，后成为犹太神学院的英文教授。1914年返回欧洲治疗心脏病，两年后卒于此病，享年六十二岁。
