主要是so与such的区别：such 是形容词，修饰名词或名词词组，so 是副词，只能修饰形容词或副词。 so 还可与表示数量的形容词many, few, much, little连用，形成固定搭配。
so...that与such...that之间的转换既为 so与such之间的转换。例如：
The boy is so young that he can't go to school.
He is such a young boy that he can't go to school

so+adj．／adv．+that clause（so后跟形容词或副词）

such（a／an）+n．+that clause（such后跟名词）

例如：
It was so cold that we did not want to go out．
It was such a cold day that we did notwant to go out．

1） so that可以连在一起引导结果从句时，可以分开，也可以放在一起。so that分开时，so后面可接“形容词，副词或分词；so位于句首，主句的主谓要倒装。

例 1 The book was so boring that he gave up reading it half way through.

例 2 This book is written in such easy English that beginners can understand it.
