I expect not 是表示否定观点的俗语，类似的表达还有：I guess not. (I) don't think so， I suppose not. I suspect not.; I think not.
这样表达就像在说“No”，但会比直接用no显得语气更委婉。你发现这个回答没有用no么？通常回答别人的话，要先说yes和no再补充说明意见，这一题如果选其他三个选项就在这方面出现错误了。
