ocean与sea的区别是指范围大小上的不同。

ocean是特指（五大洋的）大洋，比如the Atlantic Ocean 大西洋，或者（总称) 海洋；

sea单纯指海洋、海滨，比如the north sea 北海。

而“洋”比“海”大得多。

海有规律的潮汐变化，但不存在洋流，比如地中海，The Mediterranian (Sea)；

洋既有规律的潮汐变化，也有洋流系统，比如大西洋，The Atlantic (Ocean)；
