关于申请美国大学本科，PS(个人陈述)和推荐信的几个小问题~

我是15er，现在在美国堪萨斯州做交换生，准备过一两个月开始申请美国的大学。
但是关于PS，不是很懂……有以下几个问题想请教：
1、PS是必须的吗？我看了几间大学的官网，好像不是每间都有写清楚需不需要。
2、有固定的格式吗？比如说前面title应该怎么写？
3、大概要写哪些方面？是以经历为主，还是以思想为主？
4、PS的影响力真的很大吗？
5、可以几间大学都递交一样的PS吗？这个写起来怕是很费时间……很多人说不可以像撒网一样交一样的，但他们学校与学校之间怎么会知道我们交了一样的？
6、另外推荐信是需要两封吗？我打算找中国的老师写一封，美国的老师写一封。但我的申请材料是打算直接从中国寄过去的，那我可以把美国老师写的信和她的签名拍成照片或扫描回中国、再打印出来递交吗？

PS是必须的，最好要写的好一点儿，好的大学自然要求也高。
title一般就是personal statement， 称呼就是dear sir or madam
重在个人经历，因为你的成绩已经有成绩单在说明问题了，还有你要是有什么比赛得奖的经历或者是志愿者活动什么的就很好啊。
我觉得人家要求的材料你就好好准备嘛，写过之后给老师或者有经验的人看看或是改改不是很好嘛。
这个应该是可以一样的，大部分人应该都有一样的，其实网上这类东西很多的。
至于推荐信，中国老师的不用多说，美国老师的一定要和人家商量好，他们应该会有个固定的模式的，只要给他地址他应该会给你邮的，如果从美国大学里邮出来信服力更大吧。admission office的人会帮你把你的申请材料收到一起的，所以不一定要一起邮的。

你好，不管学校怎么写是需要还是不需要，但是ps以一定要提供的，这是没有什么可以商量的。而且ps的影响力真的很大。
推荐信方面，一般学校是需要3封的，这是最基本的。

My life has changed since my senior year in Michigan University when I started learning longitudinal data analysis taught by Professor Michael Berbaum, who was a biostatistician. Originally, I dreamed of being a doctor as my aunt is a doctor. She always told me the knowledge related with biology and medical science, gradually I became very interested in biology. However, I chose the insurance actuarial profession as my major mistakenly. Insurance actuarial is about applying the knowledge of statistics and mathematics to the pricing of insurance products, which is quite similar with biological statistics. I think that four years study of mathematical and statistical will allow me to have a greater development in the field of biostatistics.
