In my winter vacation, I went to my father's hometown and then my mother's hometown by car. 
今年寒假，我和爸爸妈妈开车去了他们的家乡。

My father's hometown is in Hubei,it was very cold there. I had to wear my coat in the house every day. 
我爸爸的家乡在湖北，那儿的天气很冷。我每天在屋里也穿着大衣。

On New Year's Eve,my uncle bought many fireworks. 
除夕夜，叔叔买了很多烟花爆竹。

My mother's hometown is in Hebei. It was warm in the house there.
我妈妈的家乡在河北。家里很暖和，我只穿件毛衣就可以。

I only wore a sweater. I enjoyed playing with my cousins. In the evening,we went to the square to see the beautiful lanterns. 
我喜欢和表兄弟们玩儿。晚上，我们一起去广场看那些美丽的灯笼。
