Complain 有抱怨的意思，个人认为这里翻译为“投诉”更为贴切:)

句4中的“direct”做动词，意为“指示、指导”；“offender”意为“嫌疑犯，违规者”，这里指“违规的学生”

句5可能有点问题，“resign”意为“辞职”， “in protest”是短语，意为“抗议，以示抗议”，
e.g.: The minister resigned in protest against the decision
这位部长为反对那项决策而辞职.
