The English corner
To enrich the students' life in their spare time, many schools organize English corners. The English corner is usually held in the school garden in the afternoons or weekend, anyone who likes English can attend it to practice their English. We talk about various topics we are interested in, such as campus life, the wide use of English and information technology. We communicated with each other frankly happily and freely. Our English has improved quickly by this means. We all believe that “practice makes perfect”.
It is very important that we study English. It is not only for examination, but also for the future. The world becomes smaller and smaller. It is a small world now. You know it is easier to find a better job if one can speak very well English.
On the other hand, you can learn many west culture from the foreigners and you also can make friends there. Of course, you have to talk, to open your mouth, don’t be nervous. If you like English that will be the best, because “the interest is the best teacher”.
