And the nature of any thing, the essence of accounting is to show through the phenomenon, we must grasp the phenomenon. In Chinese and foreign accounting circles, people have different understanding of the nature of accounting. Together, there are several main points of view:
In western countries, the accounting theory is not paid much attention to the study of the essence of accounting. In our country, in 1980s, not in the past 30 years, the essence of accounting has been a hot issue in the accounting theory. So far, there are still a lot of people think that the essence of accounting is the logical starting point of the study of accounting theory.
