如：I prefer singing to dancing.
翻译：我宁愿唱歌，也不愿意跳舞。

3. perfer to do sth rather than do sth 宁愿做某事（前者）也不愿做某事（后者）
如：She would prefer to go window-shopping rather than stay at home.
翻译：她宁愿去逛街也不愿意呆在家里。

4. would rather do sth than do sth 宁愿做某事（前者）也不愿做某事（后者）
如：I would rather die than give in to her.
翻译：我宁死也不愿意向她屈服。
