The subjects and course contents for children are decided by authorities , such as the central government. Some people think that teachers should decide these for students. Disagree or agree?
As we can see, these subjects and course contents which is designed for those children are decided only by the authorities, like the central government. Some folks believe that teachers should also have the rights to decide these.
This argument may be true. The class might be more interesting. Since that different students have their unique tastes, no one but their teachers who teach them know what they really like.Taking the music class for example, some students may like listening pop music, while others may keen on listening classic music or light music. If these subjects and course contents are decided also by teachers, it is entirely the possibility that these students' interest might be stimulated on classes and classes would be more dynamic.
Also, students can learn more knowledge. Teachers can add something that is not only meaningful but also useful to these books from their own teaching experience because that they are so experienced in their field.
Nevertheless, there are various aspects against these arguments, Teachers may do not know how to decide these books. They do not know what kind of knowledge is really need by the society. Even if they know how to do, it might turn out to be a waste of time and money. These teachers have to spend majority of their teaching days on doing this for that it is so easy for them to do it.
In conclusion, these subjects and course contents should still be decided by the authorities, while teachers can give them good advises. Only in that way can the quantity of these books be ensured, and the teaching field will be more succeed.
