Hello, everyone! I am Chen Qiongzhen, standing on the podium - because I want to run for the English Division on behalf of this position. I know very well that the job comes great responsibility, good English Division representative is not easy. 大家好！我是五（3）班的陈琼珍同学，今天站在讲台上——是因为我要竞选英语科代表这个职务。我深知，职位越大责任就越大，要当好英语科代表并不容易。每天早上，既要做好自己的事情，又要收全班同学的作业本，有时连一点休息的时间也没有，但我仍然相信自己能胜任这个职位。
我之所以要竞选这个职位，是因为我想做老师的小助手，帮助老师减轻负担。而且，我还有一定的
管理能力，经常协助老师批改同学们的作业、试卷。并且我英语科的成绩也比较优秀，能给同学们做一个学习的榜样。
如果我在这次竞选中成功，我将会以身作则，把好的优点继续发扬下去，讲不好的缺点即时改正。我一定会尽职尽责，全身心为同学服务，每天收好作业本，并记录好哪位同学欠交作业的情况。我还会加倍努力学习，争取更好的成绩，做同学们的好榜样！如果我落选了，我也不会灰心，而是找出自己的不足之处，加以改正。
