The Main Contractor shall be responsible for design,submission and re-submission of detailed drawings for road works outside site boundary to relevant Government Departments for approval and also obtaining consents/permits from the relevant Government Departments for the commencement of work.
The Main Contractor shall be responsible for carrying out modification works of utilities and the coordination works with utilities companies.
The Main Contractor's particular attention is drawn to the relevant Preamble and he is to allow in his rates for supply of filling materials from any source. The amount of imported materials is at the Main Contractor's own risk and he is to satisfy with himself the nature of the ground.
Unless otherwise specified , all filling materials which include backfilling, shall be " General Filling Material" as defined in Specification.
Subsoil drainage system for planters are measured in Bill NO.5/9, Schedule NO.SR5/9 Underground Drainage.
6. The Main Contractor is to allow in his rates for finding a dump approved by the Government for disposal of all surplus excavated and contaminated materials.
7. This section includes works outside site boundary. Works outside site boundary are not measured separately.
8. Reinforced concrete surface channel located in external area are measured in Bill NO.5/9, Schedule NO.SR5/9 Underground Drainage.
9. Recessed surface channel covers are measured in this Bill.
