The ‘Perlette’ grape is considered
to be of medium quality. The phisico-chemical
characteristics of berries are given in Table 2. Observed
dimension of berries suggests that it may be considered as
almost spherical. The peel and seed contents were in the
range of 11–14% and remaining was the pulp and juice.
The TSS and acidity increased and decreased, respectively
as the berries matured on the vines. The acidity of the
berries harvested in first week of June was slightly higher
than those harvested in second week. The bulk density of
berries was found 37.8% less than the true density.
