the prioress was an elegant and well-educated woman who behaved like a royal member,especially when she was eating.Kind-hearted as she was,she wept sadly when she saw a mouse caught by a trap.She was so merciful that she would cry if any creature died or hurt.At first,it seemed that i liked her so much until i read the sentence that she turned her head while seeing a baggar in his "ugly rags".It made me feel that all her kindness and mercy was her pretending act.i do not understand why such a good prioress could ever ignored a baggar who needed her help or care so much.She was an ironic role in the canterbury tales.In my opinion,she is just an obvious representative who acts totally different from what he or she thinks. 希望采纳。我老师曾经给我最高分。本回答被提问者采纳
