It was a rainy day.I walked quickly towards my home with my umbrella in order not to be wet.When I was walking,an old woman caught my attention.She stood alone in front of a gate of a grocery store,carrying a bag of vegetables,who seemed to want to wait until the rain stopped.
Under the roof of the store she wasn't wet but she looked anxious,mainly because the rain was very heavy and didn't seem to stop at all.On seeing this,I thought for a while,and then I went up to her.I said,"Would you mind my lending my umbrella to you?"She looked stunned.Then she replied,"...Not at all.Thanks.Could you tell me your address?I must return it to you."
After writing down my address,she walked into the rain slowly,gradually disappearing from my eyesight.
