What is our purpose in being here.

Your purpose in being where you are,
你来到你现在所在的地方 的目的
Is to be your self as fully as you possibly can.
就是要尽可能地成为“完整的自己”
The way that you do that
而你实现的方式
Is by acting on your highest excitement to the best of your ability
就是在你的最高兴奋上，尽你最大能力地去行动
With no insistence on the outcome
并且对结果没有丝毫执着
That is all you all need to do.
这，就是你需要做的全部
Your purpose then becomes giving life meaning.
然后，你的目的就变成“赋予生命的意义”
Because life has no meaning without you.
因为没了你，生命将毫无意义
It is neutral.
生命是中性的
It is devoid of built-in meaning.
没有其自身 本质上的意义
It is an empty set of circumstances and props

You are designed as reflections of the infinite,
你被设计出来，就是要成为无限（神）的反射
To give life meaning through your unique perspective,
通过你独一无二的视角，赋予生命以意义
Whether positive or negative or neutral
不论是正面的、负面的，还是中性的
Is up to you.
完全取决于你！
But when you give the neutral life meaning
但当你赋予这个“中性的生命”以意义
The neutral circumstances meaning
赋予“中性的环境”以意义
Then that will determine the effect you get from it.
那么，这就决定了你 能从中得到什么样的“果”
This is your purpose

Is to explore
就是去探索
And experience

And be who you are as best you can.

All that is, of which you are an extension,

Can thus through all of you and all of us, and all beings in creation.

Experience itself through all the different perspectives that we all represent

So that all that is can know itself, truly as all that it is

It is the same purpose,

It is summed up in two words in your language.

我：
我被问到最多的一个问题就是：我要如何分辨心中的声音是“神”、“大我”的声音，还是头脑小我的话语？
他：
这问题不亚于“我是谁”的重要性。虽然问“我是什么”更为精确，但是凡开始有此疑问的人，几乎已经确定是开始走在道上了。当一个人深刻地了解自己的心，就能分辨二者的不同，但有更简易的方法。
神并非用耳朵可听见的频率与你沟通，神用一切可能的办法沟通，除了外在的“征兆”，“直觉”的出现多半和灵光乍现的念头类似。更深入内心者，则可以感受到像是心语般的安慰，你唯有从内容给你的“感受”中去识别。
但凡让你有温暖、平安、喜悦、自在、接纳、宽广、爱、智慧、博大……等的“感受”即是“神语”。若是偏向斗争、偏激、自私、谩骂、攻击、算计、自贬、比较、计较……等的“感受”即是小我。
这不难分别，难的是用一个“第三者”的超然眼光去判判别，而非小我之心解读。小我怎会承认自己有诸般的负面？然而人是无法欺骗自己的心的，可以由此确知，人心内在有一个本然存在的价值标准，那便是宇宙之心之所在。当一个人陷溺在“小我”的意识中，就如同在云里雾里，意识被蒙蔽到甚至连自我的声音都怀疑，更别提神的声音。
首先必须要先了解“自己”是什么，然后才能对“神”进行理解，而理解也只是头脑层次的“知道”，唯有在生活里真正落实到有所体悟后，才能有血有肉的彰显在思言行当中。这也是何以阿波罗神庙会刻上“认识自己”（下图）的原因，因为那是通往神的途径。
巴夏解说 “认识自己”
Always bring it back to yourself,
时刻回归到自己身上
Always take responsibility for what it is you are perceiving.
对你所感知的一切，负起责任
It doesn't matter if someone else actually even has an intention to deceive you or falsify anything.
即使有人有意骗你或造假，这些都没事
always take responsibility for your part in the co-creation,
你只需负担起，在共同创造中，你的责任
and you will always be able to unerringly guide yourself back to a Centerpoint,
如此，你总能将自己，准确无疑地导回自己的中心点
No matter what kind of information you are being fed
不论你接收到的信息为何
You can see through any illusion,
你对自己，变得越来越透明，
the more transparent to yourself you become.
你就越能看清一切幻象

This is why the greatest sages, the greatest masters
这就是为什么，数千年以来
and the greatest teachers, the greatest literature on your planet
地球上最伟大的圣人、大师、老师，最伟大的作品
has for centuries boiled down the ultimate answer, the ultimate idea to a simple two words:
都把终极解答，中心思想，归纳为两个字：
Know Thyself.
自知(认识自己)
and then you will understand any reflections you may encounter.
自知者明，就是能够明白，能够看透人生的任何际遇
Because you will understand it is all reflections
因为你明白，一切都是内心的投射
and if something is out of alignment, look to yourself first.
如果哪里出错，哪里不协调，应先回头看看自己
Then if it is your intention allowed to flow out through your actual actions.
如果这是你的意图，那你得在实际行动中表现出来
Remember, true knowing is synonymous with behavior.
记住，知行合一，真正的“知”，就是“行”
The things you know are true,you just do!
如果你真的知道，你就会去行动
If I ask you to walk across the room
如果我要你走过这房间
you don't sit there and go while I think I can.
你不会坐在那里想：也许，我能做的到！
Wait, I believe I can walk across the
等等，我相信我能做得到！
No, you just walk!
不，你只是走过去
The things you know are true. You just do.
如果你真的知道，你只会行动
Action and knowing are synonymous.
“知”与“行”是同义词
So if your behavior doesn't exhibit it,
所以，如果你没有行动
that means you don't quite know it yet, so keep digging.
